According to researchers our world will soon come to an end. Global warming has been described as the main cause behind our planet’s corrosion. The only solution on our hands now is to adopt eco friendly means of living. In recent years terms like going green and eco-friendly have become buzz words on talk shows, commercials and product packaging. The term eco-friendly has been used for so many different products and practices its meaning is in danger of being lost. By understanding the true meaning of eco-friendly, you can implement the practices that will lead to healthier living for the planet and its inhabitants, big and small.

For the past two years, Karachi, has been facing severe heat wave causing great concerns amongst its populace, giving an impression of faster than predicted global warming. This leaves us no choice but to introduce eco friendly ways of living thus making it a necessity to work towards a better environment and sustainable living.

While the movie Interstellar doesn’t exactly state the world is ruined by global warming, it is eye-opening to see that the planet and atmosphere we call home could one day turn against us. Global warming has increased in vast increments in the last decade. In fact, in the last 50 years, the earth’s global temperature has increased by 3%. Pollution caused by the release of carbon dioxide into the air creates a blanket over the atmosphere. Global warming can cause a whole chain of events to rupture ecosystems, weather patterns, and a variety of other factors. We all play a part in our future.

Planting trees can help much in reducing global warming than any other method. They not only give oxygen but also take in carbon dioxide, during the process of photosynthesis, which is the main source of global warming. Recycling unwanted paper, bottles, etc…is a great earth saving tip. If possible, up cycle tables, furniture, and other outdated items to keep landfills clean. You can recycle almost anything for e.g.: paper, aluminum foils, cans, newspapers. By recycling you can help in reducing landfills. Saving on Unnecessary usage of electronic appliances saves not only fuel i.e. coal by which we get electricity but also increases the lifetime of your gadgets.

Eco friendly companies such as IKEA, Unilever, Panasonic, Allergan, IBM, Adobe, Nike have introduced multiple campaigns and products inducing positivity.

Eco-friendly homes have become a growing need for those who can afford them considering the current global warming situation of the world. Thus, this has taken a move towards making one’s home as eco-friendly as possible by incorporating more and more options that are sustainable and good for the environment. The initial cost of including eco-friendly features in one’s home may be slightly high, however, the long term advantages of doing this comes off as an overall advantage to everyone.

Eco friendly products can be positive if we follow the above steps and having these problems due to global warming can be easily overcome by our steps done it can help us in every aspect of our life where as saving trees in Pakistan or in any country will be effective in reducing this harmful action and we as a human being should be united just to save the world and have their lives positively and making this world as the symbol of peace.
